What is the mission of the Category Analyst?

As a Category Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Category Manager (CM) by managing vendor relationships and analyzing data to drive profitable sales. Your work will help shape departmental strategies and initiatives through comprehensive analysis and effective collaboration.

What will I do as a Category Analyst?

• Support the Category Merchandising & Pricing teams to achieve departmental goals and strategies.
• Conduct detailed analysis for the categories under evaluation to support the brand’s strategic objectives.
• Assist with shelf presentation, assortment decisions, cost negotiations, promotional planning, and product development.
• Ensure accuracy and validation of vendor-submitted deals.
  
  

What do we expect you to bring to the table?

• 2-4 years of experience in a similar analytical role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical skills to support departmental strategies and evaluate category performance.
• Experience with vendor management, cost negotiations, and promotional planning.
• Ability to validate and ensure the accuracy of vendor deals.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and vendors.

What are the details?

• Reporting: The Category Analyst Reports into the Category Manager.
• Hybrid Remote: This position is based out of Carlisle, Pa. And will require 3 days a week in the office.
• Position Posting Length: The position posting will be live for 2 weeks after the posting date listed at the top of this page.
• Travel: This position will require travel 10% of the time.
