Salary Range: $66,625.00-$106,427.00*
*This range represents a national range and the actual salary will depend on several factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the skills, education, training, credentials, location, and experience of an applicant, as well as level of role for which the successful candidate is hired. Position may be eligible for an annual bonus payment.

Position Summary
Exercises independent discretion or judgment in handling all types of catastrophe property claims. Also assists assigned field office when not on catastrophe deployment in handling day-to-day property claims.
Duties and Responsibilities
Establishes immediate contact with Policyholders regarding their loss, drives to the site of damage within the assigned territory or as required.
Sets and manages reserves within designated authority.
Identifies and assesses damages, determines liability and total claim value.
Prepares estimates for damages and coordinates scope of work and costs with contractors and Policyholders.
Documents all claim activities and submits final reports for closure.
Decides on payments, issues checks, and negotiates claims with attorneys when necessary.
Supervises independent adjusters handling property losses and advises on claim handling.
Attends industry training to stay current on legal and regulatory developments.
Supports field offices when not on catastrophe deployment and concludes assigned property claims.
Maintains operational readiness of the attached Sprinter Van.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. At least five years of claims handling experience, including two years of property claims, and strong technical knowledge of structural damage repair and valuation techniques are required.
Preferred qualifications include completion of the AIC program, proficiency with estimating software (preferably Symbility), appropriate state licensing, and a valid driver’s license with a good record. The candidate must reside within the designated territory unless approved otherwise and be prepared for frequent short-notice travel.
Physical Requirements
Includes lifting/moving weights from 0-50 lbs, driving frequently, and accessing heights, with specific percentages indicating frequency.
