Exercises independent discretion or judgment in handling all types of catastrophe property claims. Also assists assigned field offices when not on catastrophe deployment in handling day-to-day property claims.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Five years of claims handling experience, including two years of property claims handling, required. Strong technical knowledge of structural damage repair and valuation techniques or equivalent required.
Preferred: Completion of Associate in Claims (AIC) program, proficiency with estimating software (preferably Symbility), and appropriate state license. Valid driver's license and good driving record are required. Must live in the assigned territory unless approved otherwise. The role involves serving on the Catastrophe Team, including frequent short-notice travel for extended periods.
