Exercises independent discretion or judgment in handling all types of catastrophe property claims. Also assists assigned field office when not on catastrophe deployment in handling day-to-day property claims.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Five years of claims handling experience, including two years in property claims, required. Knowledge of structural damage repair and valuation techniques preferred. Associate in Claims (AIC) certification preferred. Software proficiency (e.g., Symbility) preferred. Valid driver’s license and good driving record required. Must reside within the assigned territory unless approved otherwise. Willingness to travel on short notice for extended periods.
Frequent lifting/moving (0-50 lbs), driving, pushing/pulling objects, manual data entry, climbing heights. Specifics include lifting/moving 0-20 lbs (often), 20-50 lbs (often), over 50 lbs (often with equipment), and driving (frequent). Climbing access heights (moderate).
