Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of insurance management or business-related management experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of claims functions.
• Proven experience in investigating and evaluating P&C claims.
• Demonstrates leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective in a variety of communication and presentation settings.
• Ability to provide leadership on claim files.
• Ability to prioritize and direct resources.
• Knowledge of current Casualty technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages their assigned Claims area.
• Assists the Sr. Litigation Manager with claim assignments, data analysis, and litigation tasks
• Manages employees’ workload, claim assignment, and daily activity.
• Resolves escalated customer service concerns.
• Designs and implements procedures and methods to meet customer experience demands.
• Oversees employee hiring, retention, and development.
• Utilizes data analysis and reporting for process improvement.
• Monitors current and future Casualty claim technology and customer expectation trends.
• Develops the departmental budget including analysis.
• Strategically champions the adoption and effective use of emerging technologies, automation tools, and AI resources to enhance claim handling operations, improve organizational efficiency, and elevate customer service outcomes.
• Leads teams in identifying, implementing, and optimizing technology-enabled solutions, fosters a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, and ensures alignment with business objectives, operational excellence, and customer needs.
• Evaluates emerging trends and technologies to drive scalable process improvements, increases workforce effectiveness, and support long-term organizational success.
