Job summary

Summit Orthopedics is seeking a Clinic Patient Registration Specialist to greet and register patients, verify demographic and medical information, and schedule follow-up appointments at our Woodlake campus in Woodbury, MN. This casual role requires cash handling of co-pays, insurance entry, and coordination with clinical teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Responsibilities include preparing next-day charts, distributing mail and faxes, and providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year customer service experience in a healthcare or medical office setting.
• Basic computer proficiency and speed.
• High School diploma or better.

Responsibilities

• Register and schedule patients; collect medical/demographic information and payments.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure a seamless patient flow.
• Prepare next-day patient charts and distribute mail and faxes.
• Assist with rescheduling when providers schedules change.
• Maintain a neat, accessible patient lobby and deliver excellent customer service.
• Coordinate interpreters and other support staff as needed.
