Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory or management experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operations in Barberton’s casting plant.
• Provide administrative support to department and work to meet metric goals (Safety, Quality, Production).
• Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, and appraise results; coach, counsel, and discipline employees.
• Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
• Supervisory responsibilities: manage activities of assigned employees and conduct training and appraisals.
• Ensure safety of personnel in the cast house and prioritize coaching with goals and timelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager and supply chain to meet production demands efficiently.
• Maintain product quality and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Approve and submit hours for payroll.
