Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Structures Systems in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the hourly workforce, drive safety, quality and on-time delivery in its forging plant. You will report to an Area Manager and coach teams to solve problems and eliminate waste while meeting production goals.

Responsibilities include implementing lean initiatives (5S, standard work), maintaining production and quality records, and coordinating with the scheduler and planner.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (Electrical/Mechanical/Engineering or Business).

Responsibilities

• Lead the hourly workforce, providing leadership, coaching, and direction to ensure safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Oversee adherence to EHS policies and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain production and quality records and coordinate with the plant scheduler and planner.
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders across departments to meet goals.
