Job summary

Ellwood in Hubbard, Ohio is looking for a Crew Member - Finishing to ensure the quality of castings through chipping and grinding according to customer specifications.

You will read blueprints, prepare and finish molds, maintain tools, and work safely in a high-temp environment. The role requires ability to lift 30–60 pounds and to work flexible hours including overtime. Training for crane operation is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to read drawings and spec sheets.
• Able to perform semi-repetitive chipping and grinding work.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift 30–60 pounds.
• Must pass physical requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specs to guide finishing work.
• Chipping and grinding molds to remove irregularities per specs.
• Maintain tools and PPE; prepare and store equipment.
• Sand blast molds and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Work safely in a high-temperature environment and comply with OSHA rules.
