Job summary

Ellwood Aluminum LLC in Hubbard, OH is seeking an Aluminum Casting Operator - Heavy Manufacturing. The role involves preparing the casting area, maintaining the cast, collecting samples, and assisting other departments.

You will work around molten aluminum with proper PPE and rotate between day and night shifts. Wage starts at $17.50 per hour with training and goes up to $25.00 per hour with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Background screening and physical capability test required.
• Must be able to work day or night shift as scheduled.
• Physical effort includes standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain casting area organization and basic equipment upkeep.
• Prepare pre-cast setup per operation requirements.
• Inspect casting setup to ensure successful casts.
• Collect metal samples for quality testing.
• Replace and set up drain pans for continuous operation.
• Operate remote crane and perform minor tooling maintenance.
