Job summary

Ellwood Engineered Castings Co. in Hubbard, OH is seeking a Crew Member for the Mainline area to form and set molds for molten iron casting. You will help move production through the plant while upholding EEC quality standards and safety.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, preparing patterns, gating and cores, mold setting, and inspection. The role requires physical stamina, ability to work at heights, and willingness to train on crane operations.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to perform work at heights.
• Must pass physical requirements.
• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime.
• Certifications on Crane training can be pursued.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints and spec sheets.
• Prepare wood and Styrofoam patterns for molding.
• Prepare gating, cores, and rigs prior to sand molding process.
• Cross train and adhere to product development standards.
• Adhere to housekeeping and safety standards including PPE.
• Inspect, set, and clamp molds to be cast.
• Responsible for the setting of the molds in preparation for casting.
• Measure mold wall to ensure customer tolerance.
