Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking a vigilant Casino Surveillance professional to monitor gaming activities on the floor, parking areas, and back-of-house spaces. You will document events, ensure compliance with regulations, and assist with emergencies while upholding guest relations.

The role requires high school completion, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work varied shifts in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

• High school education required; 1+ year in security or gaming a plus.
• Analytical, observational, organizational and communication skills.
• Casino surveillance experience is an asset; 20/20 vision required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor casino activity and record observations in writing.
• Record events in table games, slots, cage, and counts.
• Follow credit procedures, cash transaction reports and regulatory rules.
• Coordinate emergency responses and disclose irregularities to management.
• Promote responsible gaming and discreetly report concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness of work and public spaces.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
