Job summary

Grand River Casino in Mobridge, SD seeks a skilled shift supervisor to lead the Gaming Department. You will supervise staffing, enforce policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and safeguard financial controls while maintaining high standards of dealing and guest service.

You will work closely with Surveillance and Security, manage VIP guests, resolve disputes, and support sports betting operations. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred with training in Slots/Table Games and RBS certification highly

Qualifications

• Must be age 21 or older.
• Must qualify for a Tribal Key gaming license.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred. Technical training in Slots and/or Table Games required.
• Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace.
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory casino experience; 3 years overall gaming experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for profitable operation of the shift including staffing, discipline, and staff motivation.
• Maintain gaming laws, internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Safely and accurately control funds assigned to the casino operation.
• Ensure proper functioning of equipment and minimize downtime; maintain dealing standards.
• Supervise prize verifications and payouts using established procedures.
• Identify regular and VIP guests; extend recognition and goodwill.
• Handle disputes and complaints in a diplomatic, timely manner.
• Be RBS certified and practice this knowledge daily.
• Collaborate with Surveillance and Security to protect safety and welfare.
• Resolve guest questions about sports betting and other disputes.
• Maintain Title 31 Compliance accurately.
• Other duties as assigned.
