Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated is seeking an Assistant Shift Supervisor, Security at Harlow's Casino Resort & Spa in Greenville, MS. You will lead the casino security team on assigned shifts, ensure compliance with gaming regulations, and protect guests, employees, and assets.

You will respond to incidents, coordinate emergencies, conduct investigations, coach officers, manage schedules, write reports, and serve as the on-site liaison for management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of casino or security-related experience.
• Knowledge of gaming regulations, emergency response procedures, and security protocols.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with conflict resolution ability.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
• Proficient with incident reporting systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct Security Officers on shift to ensure policy compliance.
• Respond to incidents involving guests, employees, or property and manage emergencies.
• Conduct preliminary investigations and complete detailed incident reports.
• Ensure coverage of all security posts and adjust assignments as needed.
• Monitor casino floors, hotel property, and parking areas for suspicious activity.
• Provide guest assistance with professionalism and courtesy, including conflict resolution.
• Coordinate emergency responses with internal departments and external agencies.
• Deliver shift briefings, ensure handover, and communicate operational updates.
• Support training and development of security team members.
