Job summary

Boyd Gaming seeks a qualified leader to administer casino operations and related departments at our Henderson property. You will oversee staff, ensure policy adherence, and coordinate promotions while maintaining service standards across gaming, food, beverage, hotel, finance and HR functions.

The role requires strong communication skills and a comprehensive knowledge of gaming operations. Licensing and certifications must be maintained as required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Two (2) years of experience in a closely related position preferred.
• Prior experience in the gaming industry required.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must have a well-rounded knowledge of gaming business operations (casino, food and beverage, hotel, finance, marketing, human resources, etc.).
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall administration of the property and related departments, including casino housekeeping, facility maintenance, food and slot operations.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws, regulations and codes.
• Coordinates and supervises the work of department staff to achieve maximum room efficiency and customer service.
• Implements and coordinates promotions and special events.
• Establishes and administers performance and service standards.
• Analyzes food and slot revenues and expenses and other statistical data used to increase efficiency and resolve problems.
• Communicates effectively with staff, management, customers and vendors in writing and verbally.
