Job summary

Maverick Gaming is seeking a Casino Operations Manager to oversee Slots, Table Games and Poker at Maverick Casino & Hotel in Elko, NV. You will lead staff, analyze daily reports, and ensure safety and guest service.

The ideal candidate has management experience, is at least 21, a college degree or equivalent, a Nevada Gaming card, Title 31 training, and strong communication and customer service skills; MS Office proficiency is expected. On-site with varied shifts.

Qualifications

21 years of age.
College degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.
Must obtain a Nevada Gaming card.
Title 31 training.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills a must.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and the Internet.
Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.
Must work well in stressful, high-pressured situations.

Responsibilities

Oversee the operational aspects of Slots, Table Games and Poker.
Run and interpret daily reports to identify opportunities for improvement within casino operations.
Recommend and implement approved policies and procedures for Slot, Table Games, and Poker.
Identify and meet staffing needs including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, coaching and terminations.
Ensure proper orientation and training of all Slot, Table Game and Poker procedures.
Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Patrol assigned areas to ensure players follow rules and machines function correctly.
Approve slot vouchers for payouts as required.
Monitor operational quality or safety.
Monitor patron activities to identify problems or potential problems.
Verbal & aesthetically pleasing communication skills.
Performs related and/or other duties as required
