Job summary

Maverick Casino & Hotel Elko in Elko, NV is hiring a Slots Technician. You will be trained to maintain slot machines and ensure they operate properly for guest play, with duties including maintenance, voucher approvals, and reporting to the Slot Manager.

The role requires 21+ and the ability to obtain Nevada Gaming Control Board licensing. The position offers a pay range of $19–$21 per hour DOE, with benefits including insurance options, retirement plans, and a 401k.

Qualifications

• Be 21 years of age or older and have a High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming Control Board licensing.
• Knowledge of electronics and basic mechanical functionality.
• Familiarity with slot machine functions and operations.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain all equipment.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on slot machines and related equipment.
• Approve slot vouchers for payouts and maintain communication with Slot Manager and Lead Slot Technician.
• Comply with Nevada Gaming Control Board policies and protect company assets.
