Job summary

Fairmount Park Casino & Racing in the United States seeks a senior leader to direct and manage operations across Gaming Operations, Security, Surveillance, Facilities and Environmental Services. You will set strategic direction, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive safety and guest satisfaction.

The role requires a 10–15 year track record in progressive gaming leadership, a bachelor’s degree (preferred), and the ability to obtain an Illinois Gaming Board license.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board.
• Ten to fifteen progressive gaming leadership experience.
• Strong problem solving, mediation, coaching, and consulting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Knowledgeable of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulates and administers assigned department strategies, policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory controls and laws including Illinois Gaming Board.
• Hires, trains and manages staff in accordance with policies and programs.
• Adhere to and explain established company policies and regulatory procedures.
• Advise General Manager on operational issues affecting the property.
• Ensure performance, productivity and safety in areas of responsibility.
• Develop, implement, maintain and monitor team member relations programs.
• Foster positive team member relations and cross-department collaboration.
• Hire, train, coach and review subordinates’ performance.
• Support career development and professional growth for team members.
