Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Joliet, IL seeks a Vice President of Casino Operations to lead day-to-day casino activities and shape the strategic direction of the property. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a four-year college or university, and/or 7 or more years of experience in Casino Operations.
• Director-level experience in Table Games and Slot Operations required.
• Experience with CAD for casino layouts.
• Must understand and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day casino operations and strategic direction for the property.
• Exercise direct operational control over gaming activities per state regulations and company policies.
• Provide a high level of guest service and promote a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience.
• Develop strategic and tactical plans with Executive Management to support property objectives.
• Develop operational plans to support short-term and long-term financial objectives.
• Develop and present requests for capital to support operational objectives.
• Develop and manage departmental expense budget.
• Work with IGB in maintaining the integrity of the Casino Rules and Regulations.
• Direct the selection, purchase/lease, placement, and utilization of all gaming devices.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures aligned with state rules and internal controls.
• Supervise Management and Supervisory staff to ensure optimum operating efficiencies and staffing.
