Job summary

Fairmount Park in Illinois is hiring a Director of Cage Operations to lead the casino and pari-mutuel cages, count room, and credit and collections. You will oversee cash handling, markers, and chip inventory while ensuring accuracy, security, and guest service.

The role requires deep knowledge of Title 31, AML, IGB rules, and internal controls. You will manage the budget, champion a high-performing team, and ensure compliance across shifts plus weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive casino cage and count room experience.
• 3+ years in management or leadership capacity.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Illinois Gaming Board license.
• Experience with casino credit and collections preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cage and count room operations, cash handling, and chip inventory.
• Direct credit decisions, limits, and collections per policy.
• Manage drop, count, and equipment maintenance for accuracy.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Title 31, AML, and IGB regs.
• Develop and monitor department budget; manage staffing across shifts.
• Lead and develop a high-performing cage team; ensure guest service.
