Job summary

Seminole Tribe of Florida is seeking a cooked trainee to provide high-quality food preparation for items grilled, fried, broiled, or pantry-based, and to deliver superior customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires basic food prep knowledge and line cook experience, with licenses and certifications as required by federal, state, and gaming regulations. You will work on a variety of shifts and support the kitchen team to ensure efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Basic food preparation knowledge and line work experience.
• Licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Typically one-year prior experience as a Cook Trainee or coffee shop line cook, and/or through the completion of a degree in culinary arts or recognized apprenticeship

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods to order per menus (grilled, fried, broiled, pantry).
• Ensure plates are aesthetically appealing and cooked to customer specifications.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation.
• Assist coworkers to ensure efficient operation of the line.
• Comply with Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe policies.
• Flexibly work varying shifts as needed
