Job summary

Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel is seeking an Assistant Cook to support the Sous Chef in all areas of food production, sanitation and presentation. You will help train staff, monitor costs and ensure standards are met across outlets.

You will supervise daily kitchen activities, maintain high guest-service levels, and assist with budget and inventory controls. Strong English communication and team leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Strong English communication; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sous Chef with food production, sanitation and presentation.
• Supervise day-to-day kitchen activities; support staff training.
• Ensure recipes, specifications and cost controls are followed.
• Maintain sanitary, organized kitchen and safe work environment.
• Prepare dishes for events and monitor inventory and costs.
