Job summary

Fourwinds Casino in Indiana is seeking a Culinary Operations team member to supply assigned Food and Beverage stations and maintain cleanliness of the area. This full-time role requires teamwork, adherence to health and safety standards, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

The successful candidate will work with barbacks and stewards, assist in cleaning heavy kitchen equipment, and promote excellent guest service while supporting a smooth operation on the casino floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Requires Level 4 Gaming License.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and hygiene of work areas (tables, floors, equipment) per casino standards.
• Performs detailed cleaning of heavy kitchen equipment as assigned.
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance cleaning.
• Works in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Ensures proper care and cleaning of equipment, drains, vent hoods, trash areas and dock areas.
• Uses chemicals properly per MSDS requirements.
• Keeps knowledge of sanitation, dishwashing, maintenance, and safety standards updated.
• Cleans walls and ceiling tiles.
• Mops and sweeps bar, restaurant, kitchen and service areas.
• Removes trash and empty bottles.
• Promotes outstanding guest service and teamwork.
