Job summary

Angel of the Winds Casino Resort in Arlington, WA, is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare a variety of items across broilers, ovens and grills while maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced casino kitchen.

The role requires strong guest service, knife skills, and willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays. Candidates must be able to obtain a Class B gaming license and WA Health Card if hired.

Qualifications

• Exceptional guest service skills required.
• Proficiency with classically taught knife skills (julienne, chiffonade, brunoise, batonnet, etc.)
• Familiar with modern cooking techniques (sous vide, combi oven operation, hydrocolloids, etc.)
• Must be customer service oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and excellent problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of eggs, meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, sauté, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
• Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
• Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up standards for all dishes.Assists in all areas of food preparation and production as needed throughout the casino.
• Assists with banquets and off-site events as needed.
• Opens and closes kitchen properly by following the established opening and closing checklists for kitchen stations.
