Job summary
Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a friendly host/hostess to greet guests on arrival and bid them farewell, helping to create a positive experience in a high-energy casino environment.
Your duties include seating guests, assisting with reservations, accommodating special needs, and maintaining accurate wait lists and seating charts. Strong communication is essential. You will also answer phones, take messages, and uphold appearance standards while complying with regulatory controls.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Reading and writing abilities are frequently utilized.
- Must be RAMP certified.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive at the facility and thank them for their patronage upon departure.
- Accommodate special needs or requests and ensure group requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory controls and the State Gaming Agency.
- Answer phones and take messages/reservations.
- Maintain an accurate wait list when necessary.
- Buss tables to expedite seating of waiting guests when needed.
- Communicate effectively with guests, employees and third parties; reflect well on the venue and brand.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Adhere to appearance standards for the company and department.
