Job summary

Grand Casino Retail Shops is seeking a Gift Shop Supervisor to help manage daily operations, staff scheduling, and inventory control. You will assist with interviewing, training, and evaluating associates to ensure high standards of guest service.

Responsibilities include cash handling, POS operations, pricing accuracy, and proactive guest issue resolution, while maintaining a well-organized, stocked retail area and coordinating with the Gift Shop Manager.

Qualifications

• 6 months of retail or customer service experience in a role overseeing others’ work or projects — assigning tasks, training staff, monitoring performance or outcomes to goals.
• Equivalent combination of training staff, monitoring performance or outcomes to goals, and holding some responsibility for the team’s results.

Responsibilities

• Assist with staffing, interviewing, scheduling and evaluating associates.
• Oversee monthly inventory and pricing in Gift Shops.
• Operate cash register and balance at end of shift.
• Promote guest service and resolve guest issues and inquiries.
• Maintain neat, clean, and stocked work areas.
• Coordinate information flow with the Gift Shop Manager.
