Pioneer Crossing Casino Fernley in Nevada is seeking an experienced Casino Manager to administer policies across the casino floor and food and beverage operations, driving customer service excellence and a professional appearance.

You will coach staff, oversee cash handling, ensure regulatory compliance, investigate incidents, and supervise daily operations to maintain high standards in a fast-paced gaming environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Casino Management experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
• Excellent math skills and ability to calculate money accurately.
• Ability to work in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Gaming Operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer policies relating to casino floor, and food and beverage operations.
• Achieve company objectives in customer service, quality of service, and appearance of facility through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
• Ensure guests receive welcome, responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Control cash handling in the cage and on the casino floor by adhering to reconciliation procedures.
• Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
• Ensure machines and equipment on the gaming floor are kept clean and in excellent condition through personal inspection.
• Assist in the implementation of casino marketing, advertising and promotional activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of all relevant information concerning guests, employees, and company assets.
• Investigate accidents/incidents, and prepare reports for Security and Human Resources.
• Assign, and direct employees’ work duties/tasks.
• Ensure adequate worker coverage on the casino floor and in the Food and Beverage department as needed.
• Participate in employment and termination decisions.
• Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of casino relations.
• Administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for violations of company policies.
• Assist in employee performance reviews and address complaints and resolve issues.
• Attend management meetings.
