Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily operations of maintenance mechanics and trades on the assigned shift, focusing on corrective, emergency, and preventive projects.

Responsibilities include assigning work, inspecting sites, preparing reports, enforcing OSHA standards, coordinating with other departments to minimize guest disruption, and training staff. Must be able to work holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and trade school certificate preferred.
• One to three years’ experience in commercial/industrial facilities maintenance preferred.
• One to three years’ casino environment experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assign jobs, and ensure timely completion of maintenance projects.
• Perform routine field inspections on-site and at off-site locations.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain logbooks as required.
• Maintain knowledge of safety standards and codes.
• React promptly to emergency situations.
• Coordinate maintenance projects to minimize guest interruption.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of casino facilities and equipment.
• Instruct and train team members.
