Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and predictive maintenance across HVAC-R, electrical, plumbing and carpentry systems, ensuring the venue is safe and ready for events.

You will respond to service requests, set up and teardown event spaces, document all work, and uphold Illinois Gaming Regulations. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma and 3 years of maintenance experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; 3+ years maintenance experience.
Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
Background check required; must be 18+ years old.
Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts.
Valid driver’s license for company vehicle operations; training/certification for aerial lift preferred.
Experience opening new properties/outlets strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on HVAC-R, electrical, plumbing and carpentry systems.
Respond to maintenance service calls and support event setups/teardowns.
Repair doors, furniture, office partitions, flooring, and related items.
Prepare drywall for painting; paint and stain walls and furniture.
Create service requests and document all work; maintain logs and records.
Adhere to Illinois Gaming Regulations and SOPs.
