Job summary

Saganing Food & Beverage in Standish, MI seeks a friendly server to welcome and seat guests, take orders, and cash out using MICROS in a fast-paced casino environment. Maintain seating charts, answer questions, and ensure accurate totals while upholding cleanliness and confidentiality.

You will interact with guests and coworkers to deliver outstanding service, handle irregular shifts, and comply with gaming regulations as required by the position.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to operate a POS system and accurately record transactions.
• Basic math skills and ability to pass a MICROS test with 80% accuracy.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license as required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests in a timely, professional manner.
• Use the MICROS system to register and close all sales as appropriate.
• Reconcile financial transactions and liabilities from operations.
• Maintain seating charts, manage wait list, and schedule reservations.
• Answer phones, answer guest questions about menus, and provide information.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary environment and keep stations stocked.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle guest concerns with confidentiality.
