Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a bartender to deliver efficient, friendly beverage service at the casino, creating a positive guest experience. You will greet guests by name, take orders, and coordinate with bartenders, while maintaining accuracy in money handling and promoting casino events.

The role requires 21+ with a high school diploma, strong English skills, and availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to count money and make change accurately.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Professional appearance standards as prescribed by the company.

Responsibilities

• Providing personalized service and uses guest name.
• Resolving service problems according to guidelines.
• Acting as ambassador of goodwill at customer and public events.
• Promoting casino events and programs.
• Providing fast, friendly, professional beverage service and handling full trays.
• Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed.
• Taking drink orders, coordinating with bartenders, and presenting drinks.
• Serving complimentary beverages including coffee and water.
• Handling money according to procedure.
• Collaborating with beverage staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Keeping workstation clean and stocked.
