Job summary

The Queen Baton Rouge is seeking a Guest Services Associate in Baton Rouge, LA. You will greet guests, build relations, redeem chips, process Tito tickets, cash out guests, and maintain cash handling accuracy in a fast-paced gaming environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED preferred, 2 years of high-volume cash handling experience, excellent teamwork and communication, ability to obtain a Louisiana Gaming License, and willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Gaming industry experience preferred.
• 2 years of high-volume cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, guest service, written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with guests and team members in the Company.
• Must obtain and maintain a Louisiana Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in company and departmental meetings.
• Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.
• Redeem and sell chips.
• Process Tito tickets by validating and redeeming value.
• Validate and settle Slot machine jackpots and cancel credit payouts.
• Issue table chip fills and table credits.
• Efficiently make exchanges of funds for team members.
• Promptly cash guests out, give correct change, and answer guest questions professionally.
• Keep cash drawer balanced and in compliance.
• Review operational data and complete and verify paperwork.
• Maintain monetary and paperwork accuracy within department standards.
• Handle routine guest complaints and incidents with discretion.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
