Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume bar, restaurant or nightclub is preferred.
• In-depth wine and alcohol knowledge preferred.
• Must acquire and maintain health & safety trainings including Food Handlers Card and Alcohol Awareness Certification.
• Ability to follow the GILA WAY: greet, interact, listen, appreciate.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
• Answers menu or beverage questions posed by guests.
• Maintains knowledge of the dining or beverage menu and any special items offered.
• Observes guests and anticipates needs and completes all steps of service.
• Provides quick, attentive, friendly, and professional service to casino guests.
• Accurately records all sales in the POS system.
• Ensures and collects appropriate guest payment for beverage service.
• Maintains a professional and tidy appearance at all times.
• Communicates in a positive, respectful manner to guests.
• Educate guests on new technologies on the floor.
• Sell in a fast paced environment using a variety of sales tactics.
• Builds knowledge of food and beverage offerings to answer questions accurately.
• Maintains dependable attendance with minimal lateness.
