Job summary

Treasure Island Hotel & Casino in a high-volume casino environment seeks a Beverage Department Manager to lead beverage operations on the casino floor and in service bars. You will maintain staffing levels, ensure quality of beverage services, monitor on-site operations, and communicate departmental needs to the Beverage Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years management experience in high-volume hotel and/or casino beverage department.
• Knowledge of all beverage equipment.
• Excellent communication skills; English required both verbally and in writing.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain staffing levels to ensure adequate departmental coverage at all times.
• Maintain standards in quality of all beverage services.
• Ensure efficiency of service through on-site monitoring on the casino floor and back of the house areas.
• Communicate any departmental needs to the Beverage Manager.
• Assist in maintaining company and departmental health and safety standards.
• Complete appropriate reports for shift as required by Beverage Manager.
• Maintain accurate and adequate employee records and handle employee relations professionally.
• Oversee orders and maintain par levels of inventory for each beverage outlet.
• Reduce waste and breakage by maintaining a safe working environment.
• Conduct meetings and relay pertinent information to staff before daily shift.
• Ensure bar porters and bartenders have necessary gaming permits before clocking in.
• Ensure the cleanliness of all bar areas.
• Maintain adequate levels of products in each outlet.
• Manage, monitor and mentor staff to ensure policy and procedure compliance.
• Supervise casino floor, service bars, and all beverage outlets.
• Achieve service, financial, and human resource goals set forth by company executives.
• Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the department's success.
