Job summary

7th Street Burger Williamsburg is hiring both part-time and full-time cashiers to be the face of the shop. You’re the first hello and the last thank you, keeping the line moving and the energy up as orders fly.

Pay is $17.50 per hour plus tips, with weekly pay, benefits for full-time employees, paid training, and opportunities for growth as we expand across the Northeast. Join us in New York with flexible scheduling and a casual dress code.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Food handler certification is a plus (we will help you get certified).

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer and create a welcoming, high-energy experience.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently.
• Count and close out the register at open and close.
• Keep the counter, lobby, and garbage areas clean throughout your shift.
• Communicate with the cooks to ensure order accuracy and speed.
• Support your teammates and jump in wherever the shift needs you.
