7th Street Burger in Boston is hiring part-time and full-time cashiers to be the face of the shop, keeping energy up as orders fly. If you love people and thrive in a fast-paced setting, this is your spot.

You will greet customers, enter orders in the POS, process payments, close the cash register, keep the counter and lobby clean, and communicate with the cooks to ensure accuracy and speed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in fast-paced settings.
• Cash handling and basic math accuracy required.
• Experience in high-volume restaurant or retail environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver a high-energy experience.
• Enter orders accurately in POS and process payments.
• Close and reconcile the cash register at shift end.
• Keep lobby, counter, and seating areas clean.
• Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure order accuracy.

What started as a single East Village shop has grown into 30+ locations across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Boston, and DC, with plans to scale throughout the Northeast. Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour + Tips

About the role:

At 7th Street Burger, ourPart-Time and Full-Time Cashiersare the face of the shop. You're the first hello and the last thank you, keeping the line moving and the energy up while orders fly. If you love people, stay cool when it gets busy, and want to grow with a brand that's expanding fast, this is your spot.

What you'll do:

• Greet every customer and create a welcoming, high-energy experience
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently
• Count and close out the register at open and close
• Keep the counter, lobby, and garbage areas clean throughout your shift
• Communicate with the cooks to ensure order accuracy and speed
• Support your teammates and jump in wherever the shift needs you

What you'll bring:

• A positive, customer-first attitude and reliable attendance
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or retail environment preferred
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred
• Food handler certification is a plus (we will help you get certified)
• Flexible availability for late nights (most shops are open until 3:00am), weekends, and holidays
