Job summary

7th Street Burger Ditmars is hiring for part-time and full-time cashiers. You are the face of the shop, greeting guests, handling orders at the POS, and processing payments while keeping energy high during busy periods.

We seek who loves working with people, can stay calm under pressure, and wants growth with a fast-expanding brand. Benefits include weekly pay, meals, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Customer-first attitude and reliable attendance.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or retail environment.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Food handler certification is a plus (we will help you get certified).
• Flexible availability for late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create a welcoming, high-energy experience.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently.
• Count and close out the register at open and close.
• Keep the counter, lobby, and garbage areas clean during your shift.
• Communicate with the cooks to ensure order accuracy and speed.
• Support teammates and jump in wherever the shift needs you.

What started as a single East Village shop has grown into 30+ locations across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Boston, and DC, with plans to scale throughout the Northeast. Pay Rate:$17.50 per hour + Tips

At 7th Street Burger, ourPart-Time and Full-Time Cashiersare the face of the shop. You're the first hello and the last thank you, keeping the line moving and the energy up while orders fly. What you'll do:
