Position Overview: The Cashier / To-Go Specialist is responsible for ensuring seamless, efficient, and elevated guest experiences for takeout and payment transactions at 36 Granada. This role requires exceptional hospitality, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to maintain the restaurant’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Interaction & Customer Service: Welcome guests with a polished, engaging demeanor, using their name when possible. Assist with takeout orders, accurately taking orders via phone, online, or in person, ensuring menu knowledge and special requests are handled with care. Recommend wine pairings, signature cocktails (where allowed), or additional sides to elevate the meal. Double-check all to-go orders for accuracy, correct packaging, and presentation. Address guest concerns professionally, offering solutions that reflect the restaurant’s high service standards.
2. Payment Handling: Process payments efficiently using credit cards and digital payments. Verify transactions for correct pricing, discounts, and gratuities. Issue receipts and thank guests with a gracious farewell, inviting them to return.
3. Order Fulfillment & Packaging Standards: Pack orders with high-end branded packaging, ensuring completeness and proper temperature control. Communicate effectively with kitchen and expo teams for timely, accurate order preparation. Confirm allergen or modification requests are clearly labeled and correctly prepared.
4. Technology & POS System Management: Operate the POS system accurately, enter orders, apply modifications, and process payments. Monitor online orders in real-time and troubleshoot system issues promptly.
5. Organization & Station Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and stocked with supplies like to-go bags, utensils, napkins, and condiments. Assist with guest inquiries, reservations, and minor service needs during peak hours.

Qualifications & Skills: Previous upscale restaurant experience preferred, with exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, proficiency with POS and digital payment systems, ability to multitask under pressure, and knowledge of upscale cuisine and wine.

Schedule & Environment: Fast-paced, upscale setting requiring evening and weekend availability. Team-oriented with a focus on service excellence.
