Join to apply for the Cashier - Student role at Food City / KVAT Foods Inc.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing efficient and courteous service to customers, including managing check-out procedures and ensuring register sign-offs are handled properly.
2. Scanning and ringing customer orders according to company policies and standards.
3. Handling and being accountable for transaction funds.
4. Assisting with bagging groceries and light stocking duties.
5. Maintaining a neat and clean work environment, including restrooms and front-end areas.
6. Following all legal and company policies regarding alcohol sales, WIC handling, coupons, and transactions (Debit/Credit/Gift Card/EBT).
7. Taking weekly produce tests and recording all not-on-file items daily.
8. Using communication tools properly, such as the intercom.
9. Understanding and explaining programs like ValuCard.
10. Other duties as assigned.
