Responsibilities include:

1. Providing efficient and courteous customer service, including managing check-out procedures and ensuring proper sign-off from registers.
2. Scanning and ringing customer orders according to company policies and standards.
3. Handling and being accountable for all transaction funds.
4. Assisting with bagging groceries and light stocking duties.
5. Maintaining a neat and clean work station and surrounding area.
6. Following all legal and company policies regarding sales, coupons, check cashing, and transactions.
7. Participating in weekly produce tests and recording all not-on-file items daily.
8. Using proper procedures for change and intercom usage.
9. Understanding and explaining the ValuCard program.
10. Keeping bathrooms clean and replacing misplaced items.
11. Performing other duties as assigned.
