Responsibilities include:

1. Providing efficient and courteous service to customers, including managing checkout procedures and ensuring register sign-off only after customer relief.
2. Scanning and ringing customer orders accurately according to company standards.
3. Handling and being accountable for transaction funds.
4. Assisting with bagging groceries and light stocking duties.
5. Maintaining a clean and organized work station and surrounding area.
6. Following all legal and company policies regarding sales, coupons, and transactions such as WIC, alcohol, and EBT.
7. Participating in weekly tests and recording non-file items daily.
8. Using proper procedures for change and intercom usage, and understanding the ValuCard program.
9. Keeping bathrooms neat, replacing misplaced items, and other duties as assigned.
