Join to apply for the Cashier - Student role at Food City / KVAT Foods Inc.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing efficient and courteous customer service, including managing checkout procedures and ensuring proper sign-off from the register.
• Scanning and ringing customer orders according to company policies and standards.
• Handling and being accountable for all transaction funds.
• Assisting with bagging groceries and light stocking duties.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work station and surrounding area.
• Following all relevant laws and policies regarding sales, coupons, and transactions.
• Participating in weekly produce tests and recording all not-on-file items daily.
• Using proper procedures for change, intercom, and cash register operations.
• Understanding and explaining the ValuCard program.
• Maintaining cleanliness of bathrooms and front end, and replacing misplaced items.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
