Join to apply for the Cashier - Student role at Food City / KVAT Foods Inc.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing efficient and courteous service to customers, including managing check-outs and ensuring proper register sign-off procedures.
2. Scanning and ringing customer orders according to company policies, ensuring accuracy in crediting items and removing items from carts.
3. Handling and being accountable for all transaction funds.
4. Assisting with bagging groceries and light stocking duties.
5. Maintaining a neat and clean work environment, including the front end and bathrooms.
6. Following all applicable laws and procedures regarding alcohol sales, WIC handling, coupons, and electronic transactions.
7. Following company policies for tills, obtaining change, and using communication tools like the intercom.
8. Taking weekly produce tests and recording all not-on-file items daily.
9. Understanding and explaining the ValuCard program.
10. Performing other duties as assigned.
