Job summary

ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac is seeking a full-time cashier and receptionist for the Service Department. You will greet customers, process payments, provide receipts, and route calls to Service Advisors. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with occasional half-days on Saturdays.

Prior cashiering and customer service experience is preferred. Must be at least 18, willing to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior cashiering and customer service experience preferred (6 months cashiering, 1 year customer service).
• Dealership experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Compute customer bills and receive cash, checks, and credit card payments; record amounts received.
• Make change and issue receipts to customers; provide refunds or credit memorandums as needed.
• Reconcile cash drawer daily; close all open invoices.
• Assist service and front desk with telephone coverage; provide filing assistance to service departments.
• Maintain a professional appearance.

ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac has an immediate opening for full time cashier and receptionist to work in our Service Department. This position will receive & receipt cash, checks and credit card payments from customers, meet and greet customers to the service drive, and answer and route incoming calls to the Service Advisors. Regular Monday through Friday hours! 9 am to 6 pm and occasional half-days on Saturdays. No holidays and they are paid!

• Greets customers in a pleasant and professional manner.

• Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.

• Provides cash refunds or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise.
• Reconciles cash drawer daily.
• Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution.
• Closes all open invoices.
• Assists service and the front desk with telephone coverage.
• Provides filing assistance to the service departments
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be willing to take a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be able to sit for at least 8 hours a day.
• Demonstrated superior customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle several phone calls at once.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 900 am to 6 pm and occasional half-days on Saturday.
• Dealership and/or recent customer service retail experience a plus.
• Must have at least 6 months of recent cashiering and 1 year of customer service experience.
