US Lawns in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Cashier/Receptionist to manage customer payments and provide excellent service. This role requires the ability to handle cash transactions, process credit/debit payments, and utilize specific software to maintain customer data effectively.

The Cashier/Receptionist is responsible for receiving and processing payment for services rendered or parts/materials purchased. He/She explains vehicle services performed to customers and accepts payment in cash, credit card, or check. The Cashier/Receptionist records the payment amount and closes repair orders in the computer system. The Cashier must operate specific software programs to keep track of customer data such as service history, parts purchased, and/or contact information. He/She may need to calculate materials charges, repair charges, and taxes and must understand various types of warranties.
The Cashier/Receptionist is also responsible for answering the Dealership's multi-line switchboard, managing customer phone inquiries, and efficiently routing calls to the proper department, which may involve transferring a call or paging a colleague over the company paging system.
The ideal Cashier/Receptionist candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of money-handling experience, a pleasant and helpful Customer Service-focused demeanor, exceptional verbal communication skills, an ability to multi-task, and an affinity for math.
