Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a frontline associate to run POS, greet customers, and promote a positive brand experience at our Glendale store. You will process payments, solicit donations at POS, and help maintain pricing and floor standards.

The role requires reliable attendance, excellent customer service, and basic math skills; English proficiency is essential. 16+ years old, background check and drug test eligibility are required. Comprehensive benefits follow.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions, both verbal and written, in English.
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Performs Point of Sale (POS) responsibilities and processes all forms of payments.
• Asks each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establishes or identifies prices of goods via merchandise type, markings, or help from on-site leader.
• Completes closing procedures, as necessary.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Greets customers entering the store and thanks customers leaving.
• Maintains sales floor by following floorwork and PPM standards.
• Stocks merchandise in designated areas.
• Uses phones and paging systems for announcements.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
