Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is hiring a Retail Team Member to provide an outstanding customer and brand experience at our Dysart Road store. You will operate the POS, assist customers, process payments, stock shelves, and maintain store standards to promote sales and ensure a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English.
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Performs POS responsibilities and processes all forms of payments.
• Asks each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establishes or identifies prices of goods via the merchandise markings or help from a supervisor.
• Completes closing procedures as necessary.
• Maintains regular, consistent in-person attendance.
• Greets customers and thanks them as they leave.
• Maintains sales floor according to floorwork and PPM standards.
• Stocks merchandise in appropriate areas.
• Uses phones and paging systems for announcements.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
• Models Goodwill Core Values: Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, Innovation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
