Qualifications

Minimum age 16 years

Job Summary

Responsible for the daily duties of the aquatic center including customer service, cash handling, inventory control, park admissions, class and pass registrations, special events, guest greeter, and facility upkeep.

Supervision

The Seasonal Cashier reports directly to the Pool Managers.

Qualifications

Responsible, courteous, good communication skills, accurate cash handling skills, good work ethic, and ability to work without close supervision. Must possess pride and a sense of accomplishment in one's work.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Cash handling: accurate count of start-up and ending monies, change counting, sales transactions
  • Pass and program registrations: input information correctly, advise on passes and classes
  • Communicate courteously and professionally with staff and customers
  • Inventory control: complete required inventory sheets
  • Facility upkeep and operations: daily cleaning, trash removal, enforce rules, help with park operations, slide dispatching
  • Greet guests with facility policies and procedures
  • Comply with City of Troy and County regulations and policies
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors
Compensation

Work hours are determined by pool operation hours. Summer seasonal position, minimum 15 hours/week. Starting salary: $13/hr.
