We are seeking a dedicated Pool Attendant to ensure all members have proper access to the pool area, greet and check in members efficiently, and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the pool environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, break down, and clean pool dining areas, including arranging lounge chairs and towels.
• Maintain knowledge of menus and daily specials.
• Ensure the overall presentation of the pool area, including cleanliness of tables, chairs, floors, walls, and restrooms.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Fold towels according to standards.
• Report any member suggestions, complaints, or issues to a supervisor.
• Participate in meetings, training, and daily line-ups.
• Maintain guest confidentiality.
• Assist guests with food selection and information about food items.
• Be knowledgeable about Pinehurst's facilities and amenities to assist guests.
• Communicate with Stewarding for trash pickup and towel replenishment at specified times.
• Perform other duties as needed, including assisting in various roles due to fluctuating demands.

Gate Responsibilities

• Work pool gate shifts as required.
• Check in guests properly.
• Monitor pool usage and keep logs.
• Assist guests with lounge chairs and towel service.
• Help set up pool furniture and umbrellas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool lounge area.
• Report hazards or issues to management.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, and communicate. Occasionally required to balance, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds. Accommodations can be made for disabilities.

Work Environment

Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and varying temperatures. Work hours vary based on weather and business needs, including holidays and weekends.
