Job description

Pool Attendant/Cashier

(Season begins early-May to early-September)

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum age 16 years

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the daily duties of the aquatic center including but not limited to: customer service, cash handling, inventory control, park admissions, class and pass registrations, special events, guest greeter and facility upkeep.

SUPERVISION:

The Seasonal Cashier will report directly to the Pool Managers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Responsible, courteous, good communication skills, accurate cash handling skills, good work ethic and ability to work without close supervision. Must possess a sense of pride and accomplishment with one's work.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Cash handling
   1. Accurate count of start-up and ending monies
   2. Accurate change counting
   3. Accurate sales transactions
2. Pass and program registrations
   1. Input information into system correctly
   2. Advise on what passes and classes offer
3. Communicate with other staff and customers in a courteous and professional manner
4. Inventory control
   1. Complete required inventory sheets.
5. Facility Upkeep/Operations
   1. Daily and continuous cleaning of cashier booth, around the facility & locker rooms
   2. Daily trash removal
   3. Enforce all rules and regulations with patrons
   4. Help with daily park operations
   5. Slide Dispatching
6. Greet guests with facility policies and procedures.
7. Comply with City of Troy and County regulations and policies.
8. Any other related duties as assigned by supervisors.

COMPENSATION:

Work hours are determined by pool operation hours

HOURS:

Summer Seasonal - must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week

STARTING SALARY: $13 /HR
